Your browser reads each file, copies the pages into a new document and hands it back to you, all on your own device. What to check before you merge
Pages are copied exactly as they are, so text stays selectable and images keep their quality. A few things are worth checking in the final file: the page order, any form fields that were filled in, and bookmarks or internal links from the original documents, which may not carry over. If a file is protected with a password, remove the password in the program that created it first. Very large files, for example scans with hundreds of pages, may take longer on older phones because your device does the work.
